Abigail McIntosh

Originally from the Midwest, Abi and her two teenage daughters now call North Bethesda/Rockville home. She finds the DC area to be magnetic, drawing people in with its unmatched beauty and power. “I’ll never forget the first time I saw Great Falls, the champagne-like bubbles in the air rising above the fray, an absolutely breathtaking place, and mere miles from the very seat of our government- where else can you find a dynamic like that?!”

Abi is enamored with the city and sees it with fresh eyes and excitement. “I love that nature is never far away. We have all of the luxuries, amenities, food, and culture of big city life with epic trails, forests, rivers, and streams tucked around every corner.”

In past lives, Abi co-owned and operated a commercial sign company, was a Montessori teaching assistant, and has been a yoga and fitness instructor for over 10 years. Her love of the water led her to start and grow a paddleboard and kayak rental company in a small factory town in Illinois. That passion project became quite popular locally. “My perspective shifted in that business. I focus my work on making people more joyful, feeling personal pride and fulfilled and connected in every way possible.” Abi also previously worked with a Team of realtors in Illinois. Her love of houses and homes led her to extensively  renovate two older homes and to build another. “Potential is everywhere. But I get especially excited seeing the beautiful old buildings and homes in Maryland and DC. There is so much history and warmth in the walls and floors: A creative canvas just waiting for the right owner.”

Abi is licensed in DC and Maryland and is happy to hang her Real Estate hat at The List Realty in The Kentlands, Maryland.
